TUTORIAL - How to run your game faster!

If you're reading this that means you're a cc addict (like me lol) and you download every time tons and tons of clothes/furniture for your sims.

Too much cc can make your game a bit slow and laggy.

You know cc is heavy, but for the game is difficult to load tons of cc especially if they contain special characters in their name. That's because for the game is more difficult to recognize and load a cc with this name "blue_shirt-recolor#female" instead of that "blueshirtrecolorfemale".

Of course you can rename your cc one at the time, but it can be a bit annoying when you have like 200 packages to rename.

I use this program. It's super easy to understand but I'll show you how to use it.

1. First of all I open it (oh really?).

2. Then you search for the path where you have your cc.

If you have too much cc it'll take a while (but trust me, it's still fast).

3. Then you go to Actions -> Select All and you shoild see your package turned "blue". This meand they're selected.

Then you start to replace special characters leaving the second square empty.

You have to write ONE character at the time, or it won't work.

(The special characters are, for example, -_@#[])(&%$£ ecc ecc, and spaces too can be removed.)

Then you click on "Rename" and then "ok".

So you should see all your packages renamed all together in just few seconds, so you have moretime to play sims hehe.

I have a gaming pc, but I can see the difference now that i renamed all my packages.
